Hiss & Smoke - Perth’s first Izakaya in the heart of Yagan Square.

When they approached us, their request was simple: social media management. We knew it needed more than just posts and captions. We discovered the true voice of the brand, playful, bold, and authentically izakaya. From there, we embraced the carefree, laid-back spirit you would find in Japan and brought that energy online.

We also supported them with photoshoots, event organisation, menu design, and more. The venue already delivered an unforgettable in-person experience, and our goal was to translate that mischief into the digital space.

The mission was clear. Create an engaging, on-brand presence that grabs attention, builds community, and drives people through the door.

OUR SERVICE

First up, we did a photoshoot to capture the playful, lively energy of Hiss & Smoke. We didn’t just snap the food, drinks, and venue. We made sure to show off the yakimono grill where those tasty skewers come to life.

Hiss and Smoke is called that for a reason, after all.

We jumped in on the fun of their events too, from their 6th anniversary bash to launching monthly drink specials, making sure every moment got the attention it deserved online.

Then we tackled their Instagram feed, giving it a fresh, cohesive look that really shows off the venue’s vibe. Every post and every scroll now feels like you are right there, having a great time.
